Eligibility/Qualification

Applicants should meet the following requirements:

  • Hold a Master’s degree in:
    • Electronics
    • Electrical Engineering
    • Physics
    • Or a closely related discipline
  • Possess strong knowledge of Technology Computer-Aided Design (TCAD).
  • Have a solid foundation in solid-state device physics and quantum atomistic device simulations.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of compact modeling.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of 2D materials and first-principles simulations (DFT).
  • Publications in conferences or peer-reviewed journals.
  • Industry experience, particularly in compact modeling or semiconductor device development.

Job Description

The selected PhD candidate will:

  • Conduct cutting-edge research on 2D semiconductor device simulations.
  • Develop next-generation simulation tools for advanced semiconductor devices.
  • Work closely with researchers at NUS and SUTD.
