Shivaji College, University of Delhi, is conducting a walk-in interview for the post of Guest Faculty in the Physics department. The college is looking to fill 8 vacancies, including 4 for OBC, 2 for SC, and 2 for ST categories. The selected candidates will be paid an honorarium of Rs. 1500/- per lecture, subject to a maximum of Rs. 50,000/- per month.

Eligibility/Qualification: The qualification for the Guest Faculty shall be the same as those prescribed for regular Assistant Professors of Universities/Colleges in UGC Regulations. The superannuated teachers may also be considered for engagement as Guest Faculty subject to a maximum age limit of 70 years.
Job Description: The Guest Faculty will be responsible for conducting lectures and engaging in academic discussions with students. The duration of the engagement will be for one semester or till the regular faculty is appointed, whichever is earlier. The Guest Faculty will not be given the benefit of allowances, pension, gratuity, and leave as admissible to the regular teachers.
How to Apply: Interested candidates are required to carry their C.V. along with other testimonials/publications and report to the Principal’s office in Shivaji College before half an hour on the mentioned date and time. Candidates must wear a mask and gloves as per the COVID-19 safety guidelines. No candidate will be entertained after the mentioned time.
