About- The Indian Institute of Technology Jammu was inaugurated on 6th August 2016, and welcomed the first batch of students into the campus in Paloura, Jammu. In the initial phases, the establishment of IIT Jammu was done under the mentorship of IIT Delhi.

Eligibility/Qualification–
Motivated Ph.D. degree holders within the last two years or those who submitted their Ph.D. thesis recently in the relevant area and have a consistently good academic record can apply.
Job/Position Description-
Research Associate in DST-SERB sponsored project
Applications are invited for a post of Research Associate (RA) to work on the R&D project titled “Construction of permutation polynomials, and computation of generalized differential and boomerang uniformities of some classes of functions over finite fields,” sanctioned by the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB), Govt. of India, for a period of three years. The RA will be initially appointed for a period of one year and may be extended for a maximum of three years depending on performance, which will be evaluated at the completion of each year. The post is purely temporary and co-terminus with the project.
Salary: Research associate may be fixed at a consolidated amount at one of the three pay levels described below, depending on their credentials and experience.

The application should include a cover letter, CV of the applicantand two recommendation letters. The last date for applications has now been extended until March 10, 2023. Only short-listed candidates will be contacted by email. The interview will be in online mode, the date of which will be notified later.

- Applicants in employment (private, government or any other organization) are required to submit a “No Objection Certificate” from their employer at the time of interview.
