Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. in Electrical and Computer Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field with expertise in meta-optics or computational electromagnetics.
- Strong publication record in optics, photonics, or electromagnetics.
- Hands-on experience in metasurface design and applications, including metalenses and meta-optical displays.
- Proficiency in inverse design, metasurfaces, deep learning, and computational techniques.
- Excellent analytical skills and familiarity with data analysis tools.
- Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with simulation tools such as COMSOL, Lumerical, Meep, or FDTD codes.
- Expertise in inverse design techniques like adjoint optimization, shape optimization, or machine learning.
- Practical experience in metasurface fabrication and characterization.
Job Description:
The postdoctoral appointee will be responsible for:
- Developing and implementing large-scale inverse design algorithms for meta-optical applications.
- Investigating optimal meta-atom designs and their interference patterns.
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to advance research in meta-optics.
- Analyzing simulated and experimental data using advanced computational methods.
- Publishing research findings in peer-reviewed journals and presenting at international conferences.
