Eligibility/Qualification:
- PhD degree in materials science, engineering, chemistry, or physics (or close to completion).
- Strong background in (in-situ) characterization of thin films and/or thin film deposition by vacuum methods.
- Experience in Pulsed Laser Deposition is appreciated.
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English.
Job Description:
- Set up and optimize in-situ diagnostics at PLD chambers.
- Carry out thin film deposition and in-situ thin film characterization.
- Analyze measured data and establish analysis protocols.
- Collaborate with technical and scientific staff at the PLD4Energy facility.
- Supervise students (PhD, Master’s, Bachelor’s, interns).
- Disseminate research output at conferences and through scientific papers.
- Contribute to research proposals and projects from colleagues.
