Job Description:
10 Fully Funded PhD Positions in Sustainable Metallurgy (Experiment & Simulation)
The doctoral program focuses on the correlation of experimental, ab initio, and multi-scale simulation techniques, as well as machine learning approaches. Key research areas include:
- Development and application of advanced simulation techniques to understand fundamental structures and mechanisms in materials and their synthesis.
- High-resolution analysis and monitoring of chemistry, structure, and transformations at the atomic scale.
- Experimental and computational analysis of transport and reactions of surfaces and particles with gas-phase species.
We particularly encourage candidates with a computational background to apply.
