10 International PhD Positions in  European MSCA Doctoral Network project

Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) Individual Fellowships 2019

10 International PhD Positions: PROHITS, a European MSCA Doctoral Network project, announces 10 international PhD positions focusing on the development of prokaryote proteomics at high temperatures for single cells. The positions are part of an interdisciplinary research initiative aiming to enhance our understanding of thermophile biology and optimize the design of cell factories through experimental and computational approaches.

Study Area: Prokaryote Proteomics at High Temperature for Single Cells

Scholarship Description:

10 International PhD Positions in Prokaryote Proteomics at High Temperature for Single Cells

The project involves the development of microfluidics, mass spectrometry, and bioinformatics to handle single prokaryotic cells, alongside MS-based thermal proteome profiling. The goal is to understand the in vivo thermal stability of proteins and create genome-scale models of thermophiles to optimize them as cell factories.
