Job Description:
The DFG Research Training Group (RTG) 2723 Materials-Microbes-Microenvironments (M-M-M) at Friedrich Schiller University Jena is looking for doctoral researchers to work on six interdisciplinary PhD tandem projects. Each project will have two doctoral researchers focusing on complementary materials science and medical/life science aspects. The positions are full-time for materials science roles and part-time for life science roles. Doctoral researchers will collaborate with team supervisors from materials science and medical/life sciences to develop novel antimicrobial materials and study their biological/medical compatibility and reactions.
