Designation: Postdoctoral Research Fellow

Location: Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, University of Oslo, Oslo, Norway

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Hold a degree equivalent to a Norwegian doctoral degree in Astrophysics, Biosciences, Chemistry, Geosciences, Informatics, Mathematics, Pharmacy, Physics, or Technology systems.
  • Doctoral dissertation submitted and successfully defended by the application deadline.
  • Fluent oral and written communication skills in English.
  • Fulfill the MSCA mobility rules, with not more than 12 months of residence or main activity in Norway in the past 3 years.

Job Description:

  • The postdoctoral fellows will be integrated into research groups across disciplines where computationally skilled researchers are urgently needed.
  • The program includes cross-sectorial secondment opportunities.
  • Successful candidates will develop individual-driven research projects combining disciplinary and interdisciplinary elements, utilizing computational methods.
