Location: Konstanz, Germany (or surroundings)

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Doctoral degree granted between September 30, 2024, and October 1, 2026 (earlier graduation may be accepted for specific leave or outside academia work).
  • Must not hold a permanent professorship, habilitation, or equivalent (Venia legendi).
  • Candidates with their own transferrable funding are eligible.
  • The proposed research project must tie in with a discipline represented at the University of Konstanz.
  • International experience and interest in interdisciplinary topics are assets.

Job Description:

  • Develop and implement your own research project and profile.
  • Participate actively in weekly Zukunftskolleg meetings and contribute to the interdisciplinary postdoctoral community.
  • Benefit from professional infrastructure, a research allowance, and access to funding for cooperative projects, travel, and equipment.
  • No teaching obligation, but opportunities to teach are available.
