3-Year Post-Doctoral Researcher Position: The Faculty of Biological and Environmental Sciences at the University of Helsinki is seeking a highly qualified postdoctoral researcher to join a project funded by the Research Council of Finland. This position focuses on understanding how coastal ecosystems respond to marine heatwaves, a critical threat to marine biodiversity resulting from climate change.
3-Year Post-Doctoral Researcher Position in Experimental and Molecular Food Web Ecology
Designation:
Post-Doctoral Researcher

- Profile 2: Ph.D. in experimental community ecology (e.g., multitrophic experiments) with interest in food web structure and functioning.
- Strong conceptual, analytical, quantitative skills, and excellent communication abilities in English.
Job Description:
The selected candidate will work on a project that combines mesocosm experiments, DNA sequencing, and food web modeling to understand the effects of climate-driven changes in coastal ecosystems. Responsibilities include:
- Leading rigorous scientific research.
- Publishing findings in recognized journals.
- Collaborating with international research peers.
