Eligibility/QualificationPh.D. in biological sciences, computational biology, mathematics, or related field. Experience with microbial-related modeling required.

Job Description:

  • Lead trait-based microbial modeling activities focusing on linking VOC emissions with microbial traits and community dynamics.
  • Collaborate with Prof. Steven Allison at the University of California, Irvine, to develop and apply trait-based microbial models using data collected by VOLT members.
  • Conduct data analysis, model development, and application, culminating in scientific publications.
  • Supervise BSc and MSc students, contributing to the growth of future researchers.
