Postdoctoral Position in T Cell Tumor: Engage in groundbreaking cancer immunotherapy research with the Lillemeier Laboratory for Molecular Immunology. This full-time postdoctoral position focuses on investigating novel strategies for cancer immunotherapies, specifically targeting T cell activity and function during immune responses. Location: Lillemeier Laboratory for Molecular Immunology, Institut für Biologie III/HMH, Universität Freiburg, Habsburgerstr. 49, 79104 Freiburg, Germany

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Ph.D. in immunology, virology, cell biology, or related field.
  • Publication(s) in peer-reviewed journals.
  • Expertise in mouse work, preferably with tumor models. A license to work with animals in the EU (e.g., FELASA certificate) is preferred.
  • Expertise in multi-parameter flow cytometry. Additional training for spectral flow cytometry will be provided if required.
  • Experience with in vitro immunological assays and tissue culture.
  • Familiarity with RNA sequencing and/or TCR repertoire analysis will be useful but is not required.

Job Description:

  • Investigate the effects of mutant T cell signaling molecules on anti-tumor responses using mouse tumor models in vivo.
  • Characterize T cell signaling mutants through ex vivo immunological assays and multidimensional profiling of tumor-infiltrating immune cells.
  • Collaborate within a highly interactive and collaborative research environment.
  • Utilize state-of-the-art spectral flow cytometry and well-equipped core facilities.
