Job Description:

PhD Studentship: Next Generation Bio-Instructive Materials for Healthcare Applications

The project focuses on addressing the challenge of wound care and management by developing bioresorbable microparticle systems using droplet microfluidics. The aim is to create functionalized microparticles that promote wound healing over a 21-day period. Hydrogel materials will be utilized, providing the opportunity to incorporate active agents in the core for additional functionality. The candidate will develop skills in materials characterization, including advanced spectrometry techniques, microscopy, and chemical synthesis.
