Pre- and Postdoctoral Fellowships: The Lise Meitner Research Group “Decay, Loss and Conservation in Art History” at the Bibliotheca Hertziana – Max Planck Institute for Art History in Rome is seeking applications for Pre- and Postdoctoral Fellowships. Location: Bibliotheca Hertziana – Max Planck Institute for Art History, Rome

Eligibility/Qualification: Candidates for the Postdoctoral Fellowship should have a Ph.D. in a relevant field, and candidates for the Predoctoral Fellowship must be enrolled in a Ph.D. program at a university. Both positions require candidates to have excellent written and spoken English, with conversational skills in Italian and/or German. The application deadline is January 15, 2024.

Job Description: Fellows will conduct original research within the Research Group’s framework, actively participate in group activities, contribute to publications, and organize academic events. Residential fellowships require residence in Rome, and no concurrent major fellowship awards are allowed during the fellowship period.
