Postdoc – Enzyme-Based Technology : DTU Biosustain invites applications for a Postdoc position in enzyme-based technology development for the textile industry. The successful candidate will play a key role in maturing enzyme-based technologies, leading a team of researchers, managing pilot studies, conducting experimental work, and contributing to commercial development efforts.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD degree in chemical engineering, process engineering, enzymology, microbiology, or a related field.
  • Strong drive for innovation.
  • Excellent communication skills with international experience being a plus.
  • Proficient in English (speech and writing).

Job Description:

Postdoc – Enzyme-Based Technology Development for the Textile Industry

  • Scientific leadership, including supervision, management, communication, and publication.
  • Pilot study management in collaboration with industrial partners.
  • Experimental work, including enzymology, process optimization, etc.
  • Commercial development, including strategic partnership building, fundraising, etc.

Salary and Terms of Employment:

  • The appointment will be based on the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations.
