Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in natural sciences or a related field.
- Experience in the cultivation of microorganisms and general microbiological and/or process engineering methods.
- Solid knowledge of German and/or English (oral and written).
- Desirable skills: electrochemistry and/or biochemistry, gas chromatography, DNA/RNA work, microscopy, cell staining techniques, method development, and process optimization.
- Ability to work and think interdisciplinary.
Job Description:
- Establish marine microbial consortia supporting hydrogen production in saltwater electrolysis.
- Select suitable microorganisms and cultivate them, conducting physiological examinations.
- Identify and utilize the most efficient microbial consortia to enhance saltwater electrolysis for hydrogen production.
