ERC-Funded PhD Student: The VIB-UGent Center for Inflammation Research is seeking a highly motivated PhD student for a project funded by an ERC-Proof of Concept grant. The project, led by the Sophie Janssens Lab, focuses on exploring pathways that drive homeostatic versus immunogenic dendritic cell maturation, with a specific emphasis on lipid nanoparticle (LNP)-based approaches. The successful candidate will investigate the potential of LNP-based vaccination strategies to induce tolerance against allergens or autoimmune antigens. This is a unique opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research in immunology and dendritic cell biology.
