Job Description:
PhD Research Fellow in Functional Characterisation of Ctenophore Neurons
The successful candidate will work on characterizing the nervous system of ctenophores, contributing to the understanding of the evolutionary origins of neurons. The project will involve techniques such as morpholino knockdowns, Crispr/Cas9 knockouts, calcium imaging, laser ablations, and electrophysiology. Collaboration with the research group and contribution to project development are essential.
