About the Role: The research involves deciphering how parasitic nematodes control gene expression during infection, utilizing the nematode Strongyloides ratti as a model system. The successful candidate will computationally analyze data from various sources, including ChIP-seq, ATAC-seq, RNAseq, and small RNAseq, employing sophisticated data analysis techniques, including machine learning, to understand the chromatin landscape and its remodeling upon parasitism transition.

About You:
- Hold a PhD/DPhil or near completion in computational biology, bioinformatics, or related fields.
- Knowledge of computational biology, genomics, and high-throughput sequencing data analysis.
- Fundamental understanding of molecular biology.
- Ability to manage academic research, contribute to publications, and generate research ideas.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
