Job Description: As a researcher at CAIS, you will focus on one of three research specializations: Trust in AI Through Understanding, Trust in AI Through Control, or Trust in AI Through Co-Creation. The positions involve scientific research, development of methods, and collaboration on AI-related projects. The doctorate will be awarded in collaboration with the University of Wuppertal.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computational Social Science, Media Informatics, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or a related field.
  • Programming skills in at least one language (Python, Ruby, Java, JavaScript, Dart, or equivalent).
  • Strong English skills.
  • Desirable: Experience with scientific publications, user-centered or participatory software development, and mobile apps or web applications.
