Research Area: Signal Processing for Communications, with a focus on emerging radar- and communication systems employing multiple antennas (MIMO).

Location: Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg, Sweden

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Master’s degree or equivalent in a field related to signal processing or communications, preferably linked to multiantenna signals.
  • Strong analytical abilities, motivation, ability to collaborate, and initiative for independent work.
  • A master’s level degree corresponding to at least 240 higher education credits in a relevant field is required for PhD student qualification.
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills in English. Swedish language skills are beneficial.

Job Description:

  • Conduct research on signal processing for MIMO systems, focusing on scenarios with strong interfering signals.
  • Model interferers and physical environments to develop smart receiver side algorithms for optimal solutions.
  • Collaborate with a cross-disciplinary team and utilize Chalmers advanced multi-antenna testbed for real-world investigations.
  • Serve as a teaching assistant in relevant courses.
  • Active involvement in demonstrating energy-efficient and high-capacity wireless communication systems and radar systems.
