Doctoral Student – Research Position: Join the exciting LASE project (Laser assisted sintering of electrolysers) within the collaborative FASSION project. This research opportunity focuses on laser sintering of materials for advanced energy applications, particularly in the development of ultrafast sintering techniques for ceramics used in high-performance solid-state energy conversion devices. The position is based on a joint initiative involving researchers from INMA (Zaragoza), IREC (Barcelona), and CIC Energigune (Vitoria).

Job Description: The selected candidate will become a part of the PROCACEF multidisciplinary group at INMA (CSIC-Universidad de Zaragoza) and will actively contribute to the collaborative FASSION project. The focus of the research is on advanced ultrafast sintering techniques for ceramics, targeting the development of high-performance solid-state energy conversion devices such as Solid Oxide Fuel and Electrolysis Cells (SOFCs and SOECs) and All Solid State Li metal Batteries (ASSB). The position is for a duration of approximately 24 months, starting in March-April 2024.
