Post-Doctoral Fellow: The Department of Psychology at Tufts University is seeking a Post-Doctoral Fellow to join a collaborative, interdisciplinary research project titled “Effects of Racism on Brain and Physiological Pathways to Health Disparities.” This NIH Transformative Award-funded project, led by Drs. Aerielle Allen, Lisa Shin, and Sam Sommers, aims to investigate the impact of racism on brain, physiological, and psychological responses among individuals identifying as Black or African American. The initial post-doctoral appointment is for one year with potential for extension.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Ph.D. degree in Psychology, Neuroscience, or a related field.
- Research experience in advancing projects from conceptualization to publication.
- Interest in working with diverse populations and studying equity, racism, and health disparities.
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Preference for candidates with fMRI data acquisition and analysis experience.
- Experience with ecological momentary assessment is beneficial.
Job Description: The Post-Doctoral Fellow will collaborate with project PIs on all study aspects, including literature review, measure development, IRB compliance, pilot-testing, data acquisition (interview sessions, EMA oversight, in-person fMRI scans), data management, and analysis. The role involves interfacing with the project coordinator and contributing to result write-ups for presentation and publication as a co-author.
