Location: Radboud University, Nijmegen, Faculty of Arts, Radboud Institute of History and Culture (RICH), Netherlands

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • PhD-degree in Classics, Roman Archaeology, or Ancient History
  • Excellent research and publication record
  • Proficient in English; reading competence in French, German, and Dutch
  • Competence in humanities research methodology
  • Commitment to team science within an international context
  • Willingness to relocate to the Netherlands for the position’s duration

Job Description: The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to the Anchoring Innovation program by focusing on local anchors of technological innovations in the northwestern provinces of the Roman Empire. Tasks include article completion, conference presentations, participation in project research group meetings, and potential teaching responsibilities.
