Open Positions in the BamNLP Research Lab
Designation: Research Positions (Postdoc, PhD Student, Researcher)
Research Area: Natural Language Processing (NLP) – Modeling (psychological) concepts, developing NLP systems, adapting systems across various fields, fundamental NLP research.
Location: Bamberg, Germany
Eligibility/Qualification:
- For Postdoc: PhD degree in a relevant field.
- For PhD Student and Researcher positions: Relevant educational background and experience.
- Strong background in NLP and an understanding of psychological concepts.
- Excellent publication record for Postdoc position.
- Fluency in English and proficiency in German preferred.
Job Description: The selected candidates will:
- Work collaboratively on NLP projects with a focus on psychological concepts.
- Develop and analyze NLP systems for sentiment analysis, emotion analysis, personality profiling, fact-checking, and deception detection.
- Contribute to interdisciplinary research in digital humanities, computational psychology, linguistics, and computational social sciences.
