Research Assistant (Postdoc) in International Relations
Designation: Research Assistant (Postdoc) (m/f/d) – Full-time
Research Area: The position focuses on the comparative analysis of global or regional international organizations, regime complexity, and explanatory research on international norms and negotiations.
Location: Freie Universität Berlin, Otto-Suhr-Institut für Politikwissenschaft
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Completed academic MA degree in political or social sciences
- Completed PhD in political science
- Thematic focus on International Relations (IR)
- Research and publication activity in the field of IR
- Proficiency in Stata or R and/or MaxQDA or Atlas.ti
- Fluency in German and English
Job Description:
- Collaboration in teaching
- Support in setting up an e-learning portal on political science methodology
- Assistance with oral and written examinations
- Conducting independent research
- Engaging in publication activities
- Support for research projects
- Participation in academic self-administration
