Research Associate at Dalhousie University: Dalhousie University’s Department of Community Health & Epidemiology is seeking a Research Associate for several Tri-council funded studies. The research team, focused on strengthening systems responses to gender-based violence, collaborates with community, practice, and policy partners. The Research Associate will play a leadership role in supporting all aspects of the studies, including data collection, management, analysis, and the preparation of manuscripts, reports, and presentations.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Graduate degree or professional degree in health, social sciences, or related field
- Minimum 3 years of relevant work experience in academic research with leadership responsibilities
- Excellent project management skills
- Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis
- Proficiency in analytic software (e.g., NVivo, Dedoose, Stata, or R)
- Strong verbal and written communication, organizational, and time management skills
- Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively
Job Description:
- Support and manage research activities, including ethics applications, survey/interview guide design, participant recruitment, data collection, and community partner engagement.
- Perform qualitative and quantitative data analysis and contribute to the development of thematic frameworks.
- Prepare knowledge translation outputs, including academic papers and presentations.
- Collaborate with research staff and trainees.
- May work in-person on campus, remotely, or a hybrid as agreed based on operational requirements.
