Research Area:
- Data Management using Quantum Computers:
- Objective: Research and develop theoretical foundations for applying quantum computing to classical data management problems. Design and prototype innovative software solutions.
- Candidate Profile: Proactive, inventive candidate passionate about crafting new methodologies at the intersection of data management and quantum computing.
- Future Data Systems for Quantum Internet:
- Objective: Address the unique challenges of distributed data management in the era of quantum internet.
- Candidate Profile: Ideal for an independent, ambitious individual eager to explore the nexus of distributed database systems, quantum hardware, and quantum information.
Location: Delft University of Technology, Delft, Netherlands
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field. Quantum information and data management knowledge advantageous but not mandatory.
- Strong team player with leadership qualities.
- Proficiency in English, as per the TU Delft Graduate School’s Admission Requirements.
