Eligibility/Qualification:
- Candidates must possess a master’s degree in bioinformatics or pharmacology/pharmaceutical chemistry with a computational background.
- Strong knowledge in computational biology and cheminformatics is essential.
- Fluency in written and spoken English is required.
- Specialization in at least three of the following areas: Omics Data Analysis, Network Pharmacology, QSAR/QSTR Modeling, Structural Bioinformatics, Structure-based Drug Design, Virtual Screening, Molecular Docking, Molecular Dynamics Simulation.
- Proficiency in computer programming languages for model/software development.
- Passion for science, sincerity, hard work, and a positive attitude are a must.
- Analytical, critical thinking, and a sense of initiative are highly valued.
Description: The project involves the use of computational and cheminformatics tools to understand the pathogenesis of TB and develop novel anti-TB compounds. The successful candidate will join the Faculty of Medicine and Health Technology at Tampere University for a one-year funded project, with the potential for Ph.D. extension.
