Postdoctoral Fellow in CIT: The Computer and Network Engineering Department at the United Arab Emirates University is seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral research fellow to join our team focused on developing a smart sensing framework for human activity and behavior prediction to improve health and mental health for a healthy lifestyle.

Eligibility/Qualification:
- Minimum Qualification: A PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer science, or a related field.
- Preferred Qualification: PhD in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer science, or a related field.
- Proven knowledge and experience in Sensing Technologies (Wearable, RF, and Brain Signaling)
- Deep understanding of signals pre-processing techniques
- Knowledge of AI, Machine Learning, Deep Learning, and Explainable AI
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, LabView, MATLAB, or C++.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Job Description: The successful candidate will work in collaboration with other researchers to develop a smart sensing framework and explore the synergy between the wearable Internet of Things (WIoT), brain connectivity network analysis, software-defined radio signaling, and artificial intelligence to find the minimum set of sensors to capture daily activities and neurological diseases for a better quality of life. Responsibilities include:
- Design and develop integrated smart sensing testbed for Synergy between the Wearable, Brain Signaling, and RF Sensors for Human Activities and Emotion Recognition
- Conduct experiments to validate the performance and functionality of the developed systems in realistic scenarios.
- Develop Data Driven AI, Machine Learning, and Deep Learning Models
- Publish research findings in high-impact journals and conferences.
- Collaborate with other team members and industry partners to develop and implement new sensing and communication applications for neurological diseases.
