Eligibility/Qualification:
- Successful completion of a PhD degree in molecular biomedicine, genetics, biology, pharmacology, or a related field of life sciences
- Strong background in cancer biology
- Extensive hands-on experience in cellular and molecular biology techniques
- Previous experience in animal manipulation, imaging, and mechanobiology techniques; interests in metabolism and/or immunology are a plus
- Proficiency in English, excellent communication skills, team-work attitude, and strong motivation
Job Description:
- Lead ambitious projects investigating the connections between mechanosignaling and oncogenic pathways in controlling tumor cell interaction with the tissue microenvironment
- Collaborate with an international and multidisciplinary team of biologists, biotechnologists, and bioinformaticians
- Conduct research funded by the AIRC 5×1000 program “Metastasis as a Mechanodisease” (ID22759)
- Utilize state-of-the-art research facilities at ICGEB and affiliated institutions
- Publish research findings in peer-reviewed journals
