Eligibility/Qualification:
- Hold a university-level master’s degree in computer science or electrical engineering.
- Strong proficiency in English (knowledge of German is desirable).
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C/C++ and Python.
- Basic understanding of Linux-based and Real-time Operating Systems (RTOS).
- Familiarity with networking protocols, preferably with experience in protocols for constrained networks.
- Independent, structured approach to work with excellent time management skills.
- Passion for hands-on work and prototyping with real-world devices and sensors.
Description: The selected candidate will be involved in designing and conducting research within the field of embedded sensors and constrained sensor networks. They will work on linking scientific discoveries with practical applications in industries, support knowledge transfer with industry partners, and engage in teaching activities at HSG, including supervising master’s and bachelor’s theses. Collaborative efforts in interdisciplinary projects, organizing workshops, seminars, and conferences, as well as participation in grant writing activities, are also part of the role.
