Location: Mohali, Punjab
Eligibility/Qualification:
Essential: First Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG Degrees (Computational Chemistry/Biology/ (bio) Physics/BioSciences/Chemical Biology/Bioinformatics or related areas)
Or
Second Class Post Graduate Degree, including the integrated PG degree with PhD (Computational Chemistry/Biology/ (bio) Physics/BioSciences/Chemical Biology/Bioinformatics or related areas)
Desirable Experience: Research experience in Computational Biology/Chemistry and Bioinformatics, Molecular Dynamics Simulations, programming knowledge in Phyton, and experience in handling big data and Data Analysis, Density Functional Theory (DFT)
Age limit: Must not be over 35 years as of 03.03.2025, which is relaxable for specific reserved categories as per the rules of the Government of India.

Advertisement for the position of Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) under the ICMR-funded project at the Institute of Nano Science and Technology
Applications are invited from highly motivated and bright candidates for Project Research Scientist-I (Non-Medical) engagement in the research project funded by ICMR, Government of India, at the Institute of Nano Science and Technology, Mohali.
Title of the Research Project: Netrin-1 Centric Precision Therapy for Cervical Cancer Treatment by Integrating Computer Modelling, Experimental Methods, and Nanoformulation with Protein-ligand Interactions.
Nature of the Project: Computational Chemistry/Biochemistry, Biophysics, and Bioinformatics. This project will be conducted in close collaboration with the experimental work of Dr. Deepika Sharma (Principal Investigator).

Fellowship: Rs. 56,000/- pm + 20% HRA Â
Mode of Interview: Hybrid mode (Online/Offline)
Duration: Initially, it will be one year and may be extended based on the candidate’s performance and availability of funds.
General Terms and Conditions:
- The position is purely on a temporary basis and renewable each year, subject to satisfactory performance for a maximum of four years/till the completion of the project, whichever is earlier. The position is co-terminus with the project.Â
- No TA/DA will be paid to attend the interview.
- Original documents of age proof/certificates/degrees/mark sheets and other testimonials must be presented along with the self-attested photocopies of these documents at the interview (when the interview will take in person).Â
