Location: Freie Universität Berlin, Germany
Eligibility/Qualification:
- Master’s degree in sociology, social sciences, data science, network science, or related fields.
- Proficiency in English (C1 level).
- Desirable: Completed or close-to-completion doctoral degree in relevant fields.
- Knowledge or interest in gender equity, intersectionality, diversity, STEM fields, higher education, etc.
- Experience with quantitative or qualitative methods, computational social science, and programming languages (Stata, R, Python, Julia, or Go).
- Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work independently and in a team, and willingness to publish research in international, peer-reviewed journals.
Job Description:
- Collaborate with Prof. Dr. Zippel on ongoing research projects.
- Design and implement data collection, administration, and analysis using mixed-methods approaches.
- Publish collaborative research in international, peer-reviewed journals.
- Assist in organizing workshops, project management, and drafting funding proposals.
- Supervise student research assistants and contribute to project planning and timelines.
