Eligibility/Qualification:
- Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Crop Physiology:
- PhD in Plant Sciences or a related discipline.
- Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Temporal and Spatial Data Integration:
- PhD in Geography, Computer Science, Agricultural and Biological Engineering, Plant Sciences, or a related discipline.
- Postdoctoral Research Fellow in Ecosystem Biogeochemistry:
- PhD in Plant Sciences, Atmospheric Sciences, Agricultural and Biological Engineering, or a related discipline.
- Limited to U.S. citizens and Lawful Permanent Residents (LPR).
Job Description:
- Crop Physiology: Investigate mechanistic understanding of genetically improved crop responses to variable and extreme growth environments, funded by the Realizing Improved Photosynthetic Efficiency (RIPE) project.
- Temporal and Spatial Data Integration: Integrate lidar, thermal, and spectroscopic data to advance understanding of crop-environment interactions, also funded by the RIPE project.
- Ecosystem Biogeochemistry: Focus on biogeochemical cycling and energy fluxes in Midwestern managed agroecosystems, funded by the USDA-ARS.
