Scholarship Description: Pharmaceuticals play a crucial role in human well-being, yet their production and use can harm the environment. This postdoctoral position focuses on developing a methodology to assess the sustainability profile of pharmaceuticals, contributing to the EU TransPharm project’s goal of transitioning towards more sustainable pharmaceuticals. The methodology integrates sustainability aspects across the lifecycle of pharmaceuticals, addressing challenges such as data gaps, spatial distribution, and technological innovations.

Eligibility: Applicants should hold a PhD in Environmental Sciences, Chemistry, or Production Technology, with experience in life cycle assessment. Analytical modeling skills, motivation, and proficiency in English are essential. Experience with environmental modeling, data analysis, and chemical production technology is advantageous.
