Description
The ERC-funded PhD position focuses on unraveling the post-transcriptional regulatory code in eukaryotic cells, specifically using Saccharomyces cerevisiae and other eukaryotic fungal species. The project involves:
- Conducting experiments and analyses across all layers of gene regulation (chromatin, DNA, RNA, protein)
- Utilizing techniques such as high-throughput phenotyping, DNA and RNA sequencing, and synthetic biology
- Collaborating with international teams at Karolinska Institute and Technical University of Munich
- Aiming to build a model of the regulatory code for biotechnological applications
