Eligibility/Qualification
- Education Level: Master’s degree or equivalent in business/economics or related fields (e.g., Statistics, Mathematics, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science).
- Skills/Qualifications:
- Strong experience or interest in quantitative empirical work.
- Proficiency in statistical methods and tools (R, Python).
- Knowledge in financial market modelling, econometrics, machine learning, or quantitative research methods is desirable.

Job Description
The selected Ph.D. candidate will:
- Work on innovative research and projects in data science, AI, and ML applications in finance.
- Participate in the MSCA Doctoral Network on Digital Finance, collaborating with institutions like the European Central Bank.
- Write a cumulative doctoral thesis and aim to publish in top-tier international journals.
- Actively contribute to acquiring third-party research funding and adding content to quantinar.com and quantlet.com.
- Engage in research projects under the IDA Institute Digital Assets and AI4EFin Artificial Intelligence for Energy Finance.
- Complete two research stays at industrial partners: 18 months at Royalton Partners and 6 months at Fraunhofer Institute for Industrial Mathematics in Germany.
- European mobility is required, with details subject to change.
