Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Commitment to research excellence with a demonstrated publication track record in leading scientific journals.
  • Proven ability to conduct independent research and work effectively as part of a research team.

Job Description: The successful candidate will develop a project focused on the evolution of protein complexes involved in chromatin activity in Archaea, which prefigure eukaryotic chromatin. The candidate will utilize and develop in situ structural biology approaches using cryo-EM/cryo-ET. The position requires regular interaction and collaboration with other research groups as part of the newly forming EvoChromo laboratory.
