Eligibility/Qualification:
- Completed scientific university education (Master/Diploma) and doctorate in chemistry, biochemistry, biotechnology, chemical engineering, biosystems engineering, bioprocess engineering, or a comparable course of study.
- Knowledge of separation processes and characterization methods such as NMR spectroscopy and gas & liquid chromatography.
- In-depth knowledge of biocatalytic synthesis processes.
- Basic knowledge in the field of (bio)organic synthesis.
- Very good written and spoken English skills.
Job Description:
The successful candidate will be part of a research project focusing on selective biocatalytic depolymerization processes. Responsibilities include:
- Planning and implementing experimental work.
- Performing calculations, evaluations, and documentation of results.
- Providing administrative assistance.
- Acquiring interdisciplinary research knowledge with an application-related focus, qualifying for further tasks in sustainable synthetic chemistry.
- Expanding networks in process engineering disciplines and facilities.
