Eligibility/Qualification–

The candidates for Adjunct Faculty need to satisfy the following requirements:

• Must be an accomplished professional in his/her chosen field of discipline, comparable to atleast the top one third of the regular faculty in professional expertise and reputation in their own fields and organizations.
  • Her/his association must add value to the academic programs/students/ Department/Institute. 
  • Normally it is desirable that the person should have atleast 10 years of experience in relevant field, however in emerging and cutting-edge technologies, the persons with more than 5 years of experience can also be considered.
  • In case a candidate is from an industry/research organization, his/her domain knowledge should be of significant value. The possession of Postgraduate/Ph.D. degree may not be an essential qualification.

Job/Position Description- 

The honorarium shall be as under:

• For candidates designated as Adjunct Professor – The maximum ceiling of Rs. 1,80,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Eighty Thousand Only) per month; Rs. 8,000/- (Rupees Eight Thousand Only) per day or Rs. 2,000/- (Rupees Two Thousand Only) per hour.

• For candidates designated as Adjunct Fellow – The maximum ceiling of Rs. 1,20,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Twenty Thousand Only) per month; Rs. 6,000/- (Rupees Six Thousand Only) per day or Rs.1,500/- (Rupees One Thousand Five Hundred Only) per hour.

2. Please mention Post Applied, Department and Discipline on the left-top corner of the envelope containing the application. Separate applications are to be submitted for each Post, Department and Discipline. 
3. The last date of submission of application form for the First Round of rolling advertisement is 05.07.2024 upto 05:30 p.m. Application received after the last date will be considered for the next round.
4. Application forms, Annexure Sheets complete in all respects along with self attested photocopies of certificates and the prescribed application fee should reach “The Registrar, National Institute of Technology, Kurukshetra136119 (Haryana).

This is a rolling advertisement. There is no last date. The processing of the applications by the Institute will be done in two phases every year. The deadlines are respectively for first phase – 31^st December and second phase – 30^th June of the respective year.
