Eligibility/Qualification:

  • Strong interest in computational materials science and experimental research.

Job Description: The selected PhD candidate will work in the ACME Lab to investigate crystal-scale deformation processes and material microstructures using advanced computational techniques and experimental methods. The research will focus on understanding and mitigating radiation-induced defects in materials, with applications in fields such as nuclear engineering and advanced manufacturing. The position offers opportunities for collaboration with leading experts and access to state-of-the-art facilities including the Advanced Photon Source.
