Scholarship Description
This scholarship is a full-time PhD position within the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Universiti Malaya. The selected candidate will work on the development and application of an SPR-based label-free biosensor for non-invasive evaluation of stem cells quality.
Eligibility
- First Class (CGPA ≥ 3.7) in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related disciplines (Biomedical Engineering, Pharmacy, Biomedical Science, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Physics).
- Must apply and enroll in a PhD program.
- Strong research interest.
- Highly motivated, diligent, hardworking, and able to work independently.
- Proficiency in English (written and spoken) is a must.
- Knowledge and experience in molecular biology techniques and cell culture work are advantageous but not required.
- Willingness to learn new techniques and knowledge.
