Eligibility/Qualification

- Strong background in evolutionary biology and/or genetics
- Competitive publication record
- Excellent academic writing skills
- Passion for nature and biodiversity
- Proficiency in programming languages such as R or Python
- Fluency in English, both written and oral
- Team player with good communication skills
Job Description
The postdoctoral researcher will collaborate with two PhD students and focus on how microclimate influences adaptive evolution and plant dispersal dynamics. Responsibilities include:
- Utilizing extensive field and genetic data to explore genetic variation and microclimate relationships
- Producing several first-author publications in respected journals
- Preparing a junior or senior FWO (or equivalent) postdoctoral fellowship proposal within conservation genomics
