Job Description:
The successful candidate will join the Mathematics of Operations Research (MOR) group within the Applied Mathematics department at the University of Twente. Specific responsibilities include:
- Conducting research on energy-efficient data center scheduling algorithms
- Collaborating with other researchers and partners involved in the MISD project
- Contributing to the development of sustainable data center technologies and advanced cooling systems
- Participating in the development of cloud architecture and orchestration with a focus on energy consumption and cybersecurity
- Potentially collaborating with and/or supervising PhD researchers working on similar topics
- Actively engaging with the wider IPCEI network to explore further collaborations within the project context
