Research Area:
The research focuses on the causes of relapses following periods of improvement and gathers long-term data from patients using various methods including smartphones, clinical interviews, MRI, and epigenetics. It also involves behavioral studies with neurobiological measurements and interventions in rodent models of affective disorders.

Eligibility/Qualification:

  • For Ph.D. Candidates: Completed scientific university studies (Diploma, Master’s, or equivalent) in psychology, neuroscience, medicine, linguistics, pharmacy, biology, applied computer science, or related fields.
  • For Postdoctoral Researchers: In addition to the above, a completed doctorate (Ph.D.) is required.
  • Experience or a keen interest in clinical-psychiatric and psychotherapeutic research.
  • Proficiency in scientific, particularly quantitative methods, and a willingness to further develop methodological skills.
  • Interest in interdisciplinary cooperation in a large research consortium with diverse support structures.
  • German language proficiency at native level for projects involving subject recruitment.
  • For projects involving animal models, evidence of expertise in animal experimentation and research experience with laboratory animals, ideally in the context of affective disorder models.
