Scholarship Description:
The postdoctoral position is focused on the creation and enhancement of yeast strains for bioproduction of chemicals, food ingredients, and innovative materials. The project includes designing 3D printed materials containing live yeast cells, using genetic engineering to enhance yeast properties, and collaborating with experts in material chemistry and 3D printing.

Eligibility:
To qualify for this position, you must:

  • Hold a doctoral degree in Biotechnology/Bioengineering, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or a related discipline, awarded no more than three years prior to the application deadline (exceptions apply for parental leave, sick leave, or military service).
  • Have experience in yeast genetics, physiology, and molecular biology techniques.

It is meritorious if you:

  • Have knowledge of metabolic engineering, material chemistry, and 3D printing.
  • Have taken university courses or equivalent in eukaryotic microbiology, cell physiology, metabolic engineering, and material chemistry.

Required Documents:

  • CV: Include a complete list of publications, previous teaching and pedagogical experiences, and two references.
  • Personal Letter: 1-3 pages introducing yourself, describing your previous research fields and main research results, and outlining your future goals and research focus.
  • Other Documents: Attested copies of completed education, grades, and other certificates.
