Eligibility/Qualification:
- A doctoral degree in Biotechnology/Bioengineering, Microbiology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, or related disciplines, typically awarded no more than three years prior to the application deadline. Exceptions can be made for parental leave, sick leave, or military service.
- Experience in yeast genetics, physiology, and molecular biology techniques.
- Desirable: Knowledge of metabolic engineering, material chemistry, and 3D printing.
Job Description:
The postdoc will focus on designing and creating 3D printed materials with live yeast cells using advanced genetic engineering tools. Key responsibilities include:
- Developing scientific concepts and conducting research.
- Writing project reports and scientific manuscripts.
- Presenting research results at various forums including international conferences.
- Supervising Bachelor and Master students.
- Maintaining lab and instruments.
