Scholarship Description

The scholarship is fully funded by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and offers a unique opportunity to work on cutting-edge research in the field of sustainable and resilient built environments. The selected candidate will join the Department of Mechanical and Civil Engineering at Florida Institute of Technology, located in Melbourne, Florida. The department is home to 22 faculty members and approximately 550 students, providing a vibrant academic environment.

Eligibility

Candidates must hold a Master’s degree (M.S.) in Mechanical Engineering or a closely related field. Applicants should have a deep understanding of energy analysis and building energy systems, along with experience in relevant assessments and measurement techniques. Proficiency in programming languages such as MATLAB or Python and strong technical writing skills are also required.
